    Primary KS2

Key Stage 2 offers pupils a broad and balanced curriculum where subjects are delivered discreetly or in cross-curricular themes. Children are taught self-awareness and will also develop their knowledge and understanding of a variety of cultures, opinions and environments, enabling them to value and respect others. Throughout this Key Stage, children are given many opportunities to become independent and reflective learners.

The course will offer trainees the opportunity to develop their knowledge of an inclusive pedagogy across the primary curriculum and age range. Over the year, trainees will observe and learn how children develop academically and socially between the ages of 7 and 11 years, across all aspects of school life. They will be given the support to plan and deliver interesting and engaging lessons which promote a ‘love of learning’and guidance to become reflective practitioners ensuring that children achieve their full potential.
